Here's a deer vertabrae with a Vortex head.. Does technology necessarily make it better??
There are MANY stories hidden in these pics... Pro's and con's, ethics, recipes ~(8o)

What do you think of these expandables??

38# PSE shot was taken by a 52 yr old lady. Notice NO bending in the blades!

Quite impressive eh?
Technology has it's advantages but those do not serve priority over proper shot placement and practice.

This kinda of occurence does and will continue to occur as we are all human. This young Lady is well versed in Bowhunting. She also is a regular shooter. It can happen to anybody!

The hole is through the vertabrea

The point had bent during entry... the blades are fine and still operable!
Another side view...

Ya just gotta be impressed!
Regardless of your thoughts- practice and I mean LOTS of practice reduces such occurrences. Too many folks get their bows out a month before season and start to shoot. This is very detrimental to bowhunting - and it doesnt matter what type of equipment that one chooses to use in the field.
